Samuel Yoo(Founder and managing partner): I’m an entrepreneur with a diverse background spanning operations, education, and startup leadership. Currently, I own and operate a thriving New York bagel shop where I’ve doubled sales volume by building a passionate, customer-focused team. Previously, I founded a successful SAT prep business, led operations as COO of a social networking startup, and managed large-scale projects at Sapient Government Services and Johns Hopkins University. My experience across these varied roles has honed my ability to drive business growth, foster innovation, and delight customers.
Pierre G. Roy(Investor and operator): Pierre G. Roy is an entrepreneurial Financial & Healthcare executive based in New York, NY, with over 25 years of global experience. He has built high-performance organizations in the Tech, Financial Services, and Healthcare sectors, advising on M&A and fundraising transactions for fast-growing and PE-backed companies. Pierre’s career highlights include successful collaborations with major acquirers such as Microsoft, GE, and Accenture, and partnerships with leading private equity funds like Carlyle and GTCR. A seasoned entrepreneur, he has co-founded and exited four companies, including a digital content factory sold to Demand Media and a data center business sold to Fusion Telecom. With a diverse international background and dual Canadian/US citizenship, Pierre brings a unique, multicultural perspective to driving innovation and sustainable growth.
